Reporting as the seller side of a related pattern on the same listing thread: a 'buyer' messaged expressing interest and sent what looked like a payment-notification screenshot, then requested I approve a UPI request to 'complete verification' for an amount larger than the item price. Recognized the request as a reversed collect-request attempt and did not approve it, but wanted to flag the same listing thread for others who might not catch the reversal in time.

Found an 'iPhone 14 Pro – Unused, Sealed Box' listing priced well below market on a classifieds app. The seller asked for a ₹3,000 token/advance via UPI collect request to 'hold' the unit before courier dispatch, citing high demand. After payment, the seller stopped responding to messages and the phone number used to coordinate the sale was unreachable within 24 hours; no item or refund was ever received.
